Four Points by Sheraton has a beer program. Not in a gimmicky way — in a genuinely thoughtful way that reflects the brand's long-running commitment to craft beer. Every Four Points property identifies a "Best Brews" selection: a locally sourced craft beer that represents the character of its region.

At Four Points Plano, that means North Texas.
The Best Brews Program
Since 2012, Four Points by Sheraton has partnered with local craft breweries at each of its properties worldwide to feature a rotating selection of regional beers. It's one of the things that distinguishes the brand from other upper-midscale hotels — a genuine effort to connect guests with the local culture through something approachable and social.
When you check in at Four Points Plano, you're not getting a generic hotel bar with national draft handles. You're getting a curated selection that reflects what's happening in the North Texas craft beer scene.
Plano and the North Texas Beer Scene
The DFW area has developed a legitimate craft beer culture over the past decade. Texas law changes in 2013 opened the door for taprooms and direct-to-consumer sales, and the scene has grown steadily since. Here's what's worth knowing:

Intrinsic Smokehouse & Brewery (Garland) – One of the more distinctive operations in DFW,
combining a serious BBQ program with house-brewed beers. The combination works better than it should.
Franconia Brewing (McKinney) – German-style lagers brewed by a German brewmaster. The facility is worth the trip — outdoor biergarten, live music, and some of the most technically precise brewing in the state.
Tupps Brewery (McKinney) – A large-format taproom that's become a destination. Known for accessible, well-executed styles and a venue that handles events and large groups well.
Community Beer Company (Dallas) – One of the anchors of the Dallas craft scene. Mosaic IPA is their flagship and a genuine benchmark.
Legal Draft Beer Company (Arlington) – Worth knowing if you're heading toward AT&T Stadium. The brewery pulls double duty as a serious restaurant and a place to decompress after a game.
Drink Local at the Hotel

When you're back from a day in the city, the hotel bar is a good place to land. Ask about the current Best Brews selection — it changes, and the staff can tell you about the brewery behind it. It's a small thing, but it's one of those details that makes a stay feel connected to a place rather than interchangeable with any other hotel.
